Okay, so after that last patch basically just made the game actually playable (lol oops 😅), your girl has been busy adding some real flair and checking things off the Trello board! This update is all about bringing Pong Colours to life with sound and making the visuals even more dynamic.

🔊 SOUND EFFECTS ARE HERE! 🔊

Yas, queen! Pong Colours finally makes noise! This was a big one on the backlog (remember that "SFX: 0/7 planned" on Trello? Consider it CONQUERED!), and it makes a huge difference. We've now got custom sounds for:

• Paddle Hit: That satisfying thwack when you connect!
• Ball Wall Bounce: Boop off the top and bottom.
• Score Point: A triumphant little sound when you score! ✨
• Achievement Unlocked: Get that celebratory fanfare when you earn a trophy! 🏆
• UI Button Click: Little clicks for navigating menus.
• Reset Data: A distinct sound for when you wipe the slate clean.

Adjust the SFX volume in the Options menu to get it just right! Lemme know what you think of them!

🏆 Achievement Hunting Made Easy! 🏆

Ever wondered exactly what you needed to do for "Gay Chameleon" or "Ponging Out"? Wonder no more!

• Hover Tooltips: Just mouse over any of those gorge achievement icons in the Achievements menu, and a cute little two-line tooltip will pop up telling you the criteria! No more guesswork, just slayage! 💅

🌌 Interstellar Activated 🌌

Remember that twinkling starry background? We gave it a glow-up!

• Constant Scrolling Parallax: Instead of just shifting slightly with the ball, the starfield now sloooowly scrolls by constantly! It really feels like you're battling it out while drifting through the vastness of gay space. I've tweaked the shader to make the different layers move at different speeds for that 3D immersion. Much more dynamic!

💅 Little Glow-Ups & Goodies ✨

And a few other bits of polish because we deserve nice things:

• Custom Cursor: Ditched the boring default OS cursor for a proper Pong Colours branded one! It's the little things, y'know?
• Achievement Icons Revamped: Gave the achievement graphics a little resolution boost and polish. Looking sharp! 🏆
• More Balls! & Flag Update: Added ball textures to match all the Pride flags and Meme paddles already in the game, so they'll pop up randomly too! Also updated the Polyamory flag textures (for both paddles and balls) to the newer, more inclusive design. 🏳️‍🌈 Representation matters!

Okay, so what's still simmering on the Trello backlog now that SFX are in?

• PAUSE MENU! Still need that snack break functionality.
• Local Multiplayer! The big dream is still on the horizon!
• Full Controller UI Navigation: Finishing the job so you can ditch the mouse entirely.
• More Paddles/Balls/Achievements? Always room for more fabulousness!
